Truck Service Team

Vela Transport LLC is expanding and looking to add diesel mechanics to our growing team! Based in Grand Rapids, MI, we are seeking diesel technicians to help support the maintenance needs of our dedicated drivers. The mechanic is responsible for maintaining their own daily tools.

Main Qualifications

• Safety checks on semi-trucks

• Truck engine maintenance; lube, oil, and filter

• Tire inspections and repairs

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, suspension, brake and air systems on our vehicles and trailers

• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times

• Review and complete repairs from our fleet

• Maintains a clean, safe work area

Pay and Benefits

Earn up to $35 per hour, paid weekly! Pay based on experience, 1 year of experience required to apply. Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply. When you join, you will work alongside professionals and receive valuable hands-on training. We will start pay on a negotiable salary, but it increases each year based on your performance.
